通常,辐照可以使高聚物产生交联和裂解反应,究以那种反应为主,除取决于高分子链结构外,辐照温度的影响也是十分重要的。某些在常温下难以交联的聚合物,甚至是裂解型聚合物,在高温下却能发生交联。显然,辐照温度与高聚物的辐射交联反应或裂解反应的几率以及规律有着十分密切的关系。例如,提高交联反应温度,可使高分子链活动能力增加,从而使交联G值变大,凝胶化剂量变小。一般用溶胶分数(S)和辐照剂量(R)间的关系表征聚合
