本文论述南宋著名理学家包恢重“自然”的诗学观。对于诗歌创作,强调创作主体的创作动机须自然而发,以自己情志才性的自然发露与有感而应的自然之鸣,形成诗之自然本体;审美主体善于发现把握表现对象客体自然之美的本质,造物气象,须自大化混浩中沙汰陶熔出。得天工造化之妙,方见精彩;文体运用与艺术表达须自然而为,摒去人工匠气,臻至“天巧”境界。包恢的诗学以心学为根柢,在宋代程、朱理学家的诗论中别树一帜,是中国诗学批评史上颇有光彩的一家。
