最近,江西省安福县首次发现一种危害杉树的新害虫。安福武功山林场在今年的森林病虫害监测调查时,发现洋溪分场花园山山场20多hm2新造林杉树被害虫危害严重,该虫为鞘翅目象甲科昆虫,成虫体长8~12mm,雄虫较小,雌虫略大,灰褐色,鞘翅上有4片显著的斑纹。主要危害方式为以口器啃食杉树嫩芽、嫩叶。每株平均虫口1~2个,可将杉树嫩叶吃光,顶芽光秃,叶基虫口流脂,严重影响杉树的生长发育。
