On October 5, 2015 winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was announced. Half of the prize was awarded to Tu Yo-yo, a Chinese pharmacologist, and the other half to Irish scientist William Campbell and Japanese scholar Omura. This is the first time that Chinese scientists have won the Nobel Prize in Science for scientific research conducted in China. Tu Yo Yo’s award-winning reason is “The discovery of new malaria therapy ”. In the 1960s and 1970s, under extremely difficult scientific research conditions, Tu Yo Yo’s team cooperated with other Chinese agencies through arduous efforts and from the "elbow reserve
