生物演化史上最重大的事件莫过于“寒武纪大爆发”。云南早寒武世的澄江古生物群是一个举世罕见的化石宝库。古生物学界在澄江共发现180多种动物,其中80%都是前所未知的新种,还有20多种痕迹化石和粪便化石。几乎现生动物的所有门类,都能在澄江化石群里找到它们的远祖代表。如今,在澄江边,有一群艺术家正用自己的艺术实践让人们看到一个立体的寒武纪生物群。
The most significant event in the history of biological evolution is the “Great Cambrian explosion”. The Chengjiang paleobiology of the Early Cambrian in Yunnan Province is a rare treasure house of fossils in the world. Paleontology in Chengjiang found a total of more than 180 kinds of animals, of which 80% are unknown new species, there are more than 20 kinds of trace fossils and fecal fossils. Almost all living creatures of all categories, can be found in Chengjiang fossil group of their ancestral representatives. Today, on the edge of Chengjiang, a group of artists are using their own art practices to see a three-dimensional Cambrian biota.
