Recently, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences published a paper entitled “Protein kinase A type II beta regulatory subunit deficiency affecting movement and energy balance through different neural cell populations in the brain,” written by Peking University Ph.D. and postdoctoral researcher Zheng Ruimao of Harvard University. The article said that researchers using genetically modified technology to determine a group of body’s energy metabolism control of nerve cells, the group of nerve cells in the hypothalamus, secretion of inhibitory neurotransmitter GA-BA, and through the protein kinase A signaling pathway, closely regulate the body Energy metabolism balance. In addition, the study leads to an interesting corollary: Exercise weight loss may be limited.
