人类免疫缺陷症病毒(HIV)主要感染CD4~+细胞,有时表现出特征性细胞致病作用(CPE),体外主要表现为细胞融合、气球样变性及细胞死亡。据报道在HIV原发感染早期,细胞中出现大量非整合性病毒DNA,但这些DNA的积聚与CPE之间的关系未明。本文作者采用游离病毒对MOLT-4~#8细胞进行初次感染或用持续感染的MOLT-4~#8细胞与未感染细胞共同培养,通过细胞融合而产生CPE,研究了非整合HIV DNA的积聚
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) mainly infects CD4 ~ + cells and sometimes exhibits characteristic cytopathic effect (CPE). In vitro, it mainly displays cell fusion, balloon-like degeneration and cell death. It is reported that a large amount of non-integrated viral DNA appears in cells early in the primary HIV infection, but the relationship between these DNA accumulations and CPE is unknown.
