9月14日至23日,国家民委邀请部分新疆籍少数民族华侨华人回国参观考察。来自哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦、乌兹别克斯坦、塔吉克斯坦、巴基斯坦、沙特阿拉伯、土耳其、澳大利亚8个国家的29名新疆籍华侨华人参加了考察活动。考察团一行先后赴新疆维吾尔自治区、上海市和北京市,听取了当地民族工作部门关于少数民族和民族地区经济社会发展情况的介绍;考察了乌鲁木齐市平顶山社区、昌吉市回民街、上海市黄浦区打浦路街道、北京市牛街街道和礼拜寺等
From September 14 to September 23, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission invited some ethnic minority ethnic Chinese from Xinjiang to visit China for inspection. A total of 29 overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese from eight countries including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Australia participated in the study. The delegation visited Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Shanghai Municipality and Beijing Municipality one after another, and listened to the introduction of the economic and social development of ethnic minorities and ethnic regions in the local ethnic work departments; investigated the Pingdingshan community in Urumqi, Muslim Street in Changji, Huangpu District in Shanghai Dapu Street, Beijing Niujie streets and worship Temple and so on
