The results of the “Comprehensive Survey of the Marine Environment in Xiamen Port” organized by the three State Oceanic Administrations from August 1980 to October 1981 organized by the experts in Xiamen for inspection and acceptance on April 29. This survey is a large multidisciplinary survey that includes marine hydrology, marine sediment, marine life and marine chemistry.
