1957年,台北复兴剧校,一群儿童正在练习京剧的手势,中间夹着一个美国面孔, 形成幽默的画面。复兴剧校是台湾专门教授京剧的学校,一些老师是由大陆去的著名艺人。学童自幼即开始学习基本功,要求严格,不少家境贫寒的父母将孩子送去剧校, 以习得一技。至于洋人学艺,多是成年后的个人兴趣,像照片中的白人儿童从小“混迹”梨园,实为罕见。
In 1957, at the Taipei Fuxing Drama School, a group of children practiced the gestures of Peking Opera with a U.S. face in the middle to form a humorous picture. The Fuxing School is a school dedicated to teaching Peking opera in Taiwan. Some of the teachers are well-known artists from the Mainland. Since childhood, students began to learn basic skills, demanding strict, many poor parents sent their children to drama school to learn skills. As for foreigners learning art, mostly adult personal interests, like the white children in the photo from childhood “mixed” pear, it is rare.
