The source of insoluble particles in the East Flannel ice core of Mount Qomolangma (hereinafter referred to as Everest) was firstly investigated by Sr-Nd-Pb isotope tracing method.The results show that the particles in the ice core decontamination layer mainly come from the local Dust source, and non-contaminated samples are similar to those in the arid region of northwestern India.The air trajectory analysis in HYSPLIT model shows that when a dust storm occurs in the northwestern India, the air flow reaching the ice core sampling point first passes through the region and further Verified the possibility that the particles in the East Flake ice core originated in northwestern India.
