In the process of college English cross-cultural teaching, college teachers adopt an inculcative teaching mode.Teachers play the role of teaching subject in the teaching process. The lack of interaction between students and teachers leads to the alienation between teachers and students, which is not conducive to the implementation of teaching. The teaching effect is not obvious and the teaching timeliness is poor. Based on this, this paper analyzes the shortcomings in the teaching process from the microscopic aspects of the existing college English teaching ecosystem, and then proposes corresponding improvement strategies, in order to provide reference for improving the timeliness of college English cross-cultural teaching.
