我们都可能有这样的经历:辗转难眠时,听上一张自己喜欢的音乐CD,也许就会睡着了。现在科学家们发现了更有效的催眠曲:你自己的大脑音乐。大脑自有音乐加拿大多伦多大学睡眠研究中心的科学家发现,人类的大脑能够产生它自己内在的音乐,这一音乐可以用来治疗困扰成千上万的病症:焦虑性失眠。研究人员称,通过对每个失眠患者播放属于他们自己大脑的音乐,这些睡眠失调的人就会安然进入梦乡,睡得更熟更深。
We may all have this experience: When we have difficulty sleeping, we may hear a music CD that we like. We may be asleep. Now scientists have discovered a more effective lullaby: your own brain music. The Brain’s Own Music Scientists at the Sleep Research Center of the University of Toronto in Canada found that the human brain can produce its own intrinsic music that can be used to treat thousands of illness problems: anxiety and insomnia. According to the researchers, by playing music belonging to their own brains for each insomniac patient, these people with sleep disorders will sleep peacefully and sleep deeper and deeper.
