八十年代初,河南省开始了白榆优良自然类型典型株(单株)的推广和利用,不久便把白榆优良无性系应用到生产中去,从而代替了自然类型。这种以白榆良种造林为特点的白榆更新换代,标志着我省白榆良种选育工作进入了一个崭新的阶段。白榆是我省平原地区重要的乡土用材树种,木材坚硬、抗压、耐腐,一向是我省民用建筑、农具、家具的上等用材。白榆木材生产历来在我省木材供求方面起着举足轻重
In the early 1980s, Henan Province started the promotion and utilization of the excellent natural type of Ulmus pumila (plant), which soon replaced the excellent type of Ulmus pumila to produce.
