However, modern microbiology research has changed this erroneous view and found that bacteria have many similarities with higher organisms. For example, on the key issue of signal perception, which is related to life and death, bacteria can not only sense environmental stimuli, but also cells can be used by different bacteria to make use of compounds as molecules.
