在我国东北林区,森林沼泽地分布较广、面积较大。仅我局就有沼泽地43,000多公顷,约占经营总面积的15%。为了提高森林覆被率和扩大用材林基地,我局于1963年建立了柳树河机械化试验林场专事沼泽地改造工作。截止到1981年底,共在沼泽地上造林5,118公顷,其中有2,925公顷已郁闭成林。1979年调查时立木总蓄积已达42,000立方米。1981年9月又对部分17年生的落叶松林进行了调查,平均胸径13.2厘米,平均树高11.2米,每公顷蓄积达166.83立方米,这些落叶松林已开始间伐利用,能生产脚手杆和椽材。现将我局近二十年来对沼泽地的改造与利用等情况总结如下,仅供参考。一、影响沼泽地林木生长及更新的主要因子在沼泽地上影响林木生长与更新的因素是多方面的,其中主要的有以下几点:
In our country’s northeast forest area, forest swamps are widely distributed and large in area. In our office alone, we have more than 43,000 hectares of wetlands, accounting for about 15% of the total area of operations. In order to improve the forest cover rate and expand the timber forest base, our bureau established the Willow River mechanized pilot farm wetland reform in 1963. By the end of 1981, a total of 5,118 hectares had been planted in the swamps, of which 2,925 hectares were closed. In 1979, the total stock of standing rosewood reached 42,000 cubic meters. In September 1981, some 17-year-old larch forests were surveyed. The average diameter at breast height was 13.2 cm and the average height was 11.2 m. The hectare reached 166.83 m 3 per hectare. These larch forests have been used for thinning and can produce scaffolding and rafters material.
