The attention of the entire nation and the world-famous 17th National Congress of the Party have concluded. This is a very important meeting of our party held at the crucial stage of our country’s reform and development. The congress held high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics and pointed out the direction for the entire party and people of all nationalities throughout the country in continuing to build a well-off society in an all-round way under the conditions of the new times and continuing to promote the development of the party and the country. As President Xiao Yang once pointed out, the grand plan of socialism with Chinese characteristics has been planned in the report to the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is an important Marxist document that shines with a glorious light of theoretical innovation. The content of the report is profound and comprehensive and covers all aspects. It is not only a political declaration that comprehensively advances party building, an effective guarantee for the development of socialist democracy, a solemn promise of improving people’s livelihood in an all-round way, and a powerful driving force for social and cultural prosperity.
