本文通过对贵州都匀地区铅锌及多金属矿床（点）的初步总结，认为这类矿床中镉（Cd）含量大多已达到工业品位，部分甚至高出工业品位几一几十倍，且具有相当的潜力。Cd的高度富集，说明在该区有着独特的地球化学行为，具有良好的成矿远景，有必要对其进行详细的研究。
