该建筑位于开普敦具有历史意义的沃特康特地区里一片狭窄的地块,大门朝南,正对一条美丽的维多利亚风格的街道--劳德大街,在房屋北边可看到开普敦城镇中心和港口的风景。该房屋的设计目的是为生活在约翰内斯堡的客户提供一所假日休闲去处,二楼作起居之用,一楼为休息之用。沃特康特地区的劳德大街是开普敦保存最为完整的古街道遗迹之一,其开发活动由市政府遗产署负责,他们非常重视新建筑对于古街道的影响。市政府批准了这个双层楼建筑项目临街而建,并有一个出口正对劳德大街。
Located on a narrow block of Cape Town's historic Watercity, the building is facing the south facing Cape Town, a beautiful Victorian street - Lord Street, to the north of the house Town center and harbor landscape. The home was designed to provide a holiday destination for clients living in Johannesburg, living on the second floor and resting on the first floor. Lauder Street in Waterkant is one of Cape Town's most preserved remains of ancient streets. Its development activities are the responsibility of the City Department's Heritage Department. The city government approved the two-story building project to be built facing the street, with an exit facing Lauder avenue.
