Calcium antagonists are a class of compounds with a variety of chemical structures. They are mainly through the inhibition of Ca ~ (++) transport in order to play anti-arrhythmia, anti-angina, as well as anti-hypertension and anti-heart failure. (A) the possible mechanism of antihypertensive effects of calcium antagonists in animal models of experimental hypertension, found in myocardial and vascular smooth muscle calcium distribution increased. When investigating 9,321 soldiers in Belgium, Belgium found a strong correlation between serum calcium and systolic and diastolic blood pressure, suggesting that Ca ~ (++) may play an important role in the formation of hypertension. Some scholars believe that hypertension is due to abnormal cell membrane, easy to make intracellular Ca ~ (++) concentration increased reason.
