In 2013, tumor immunotherapy topped the list of the top ten scientific breakthroughs (Couzin-Frankel, 2013), and it was widely used in the treatment of lung cancer, kidney cancer, and melanoma (Routy et al., 2018).However, the response rate of patients to tumor immunotherapy varies, and usually, only a small percentage of patients respond well to treatment (Sambi et al., 2019).A large number of studies have ever since focused on the influence of microflora on tumor immunotherapy and recent studies have shown that microflora are closely related to the efficiency of tumor immunotherapy (Gopalakrishnan et al., 2018).Intestinal flora manipulating the response efficiency to tumor immunotherapy have been seen in clinical studies.Patients who respond to immunotherapy have unique intestinal flora composition and higher bacterial diversity, and certain intestinal flora have the efficacy to enhance favorable responses to immunotherapy (Jin et al., 2019).At the genus level, bacteria of the same genera have high consistency in promoting tumor immunotherapy;therefore, these bacteria may possess valuableclinical translation potential (Skelly et al., 2019).
