厦门港是中国东南沿海的重要港口,是从宁波 至广州之间几千公里漫长海岸线的重要深水港。厦 门港港阔、水深、不冻、少淤、避风,是我国东南沿海 不可多得的天然良港。 厦门港位于福建省沿海南部九龙江的入海口 处,岸线长154公里,其中可用于建港的深水岸线 16.44公里,联检锚地14平方公里。厦门港目前与 五大洲的40多个国家和地区的60多个港口通航, 并与140多个国家和地区有贸易联系,且辟有厦门 至香港、上海、温州、广州等地的海上定期客运航班。 目前,厦门全港共有生产性码头73个,其中万 吨级以上码头10个。主要有和平港区、东渡一期港 区、东渡二期港区、石湖山港区、高崎港区及同安刘 五店港区等6个港区。铁路专用线直达港区腹地,拥 有与码头配套的装卸机械设备和库场,以及计算机 信息管理网络等现代化管理手段。厦门港务局是一 个集装卸、仓储、代理、驳运、工程、港机制造维修、港 口服务于一体的客货兼营的散杂货、集装箱并重的 多功能、综合性的港口企业。 改革开放以来,厦门港进入了一个腾飞的历史 阶段,各方面都有长足的进步和发展。1994年,厦门 港生产效益实现了“四个突破”。在此基础上,1995 年全港货物吞吐量达1300多万吨,集装箱吞吐量达 30多万标箱,外贸进出口货物吞吐量达700多
Xiamen Port is an important port in the southeast coast of China and is an important deep-water port with a long coastline of thousands of kilometers from Ningbo to Guangzhou. Xiamen Port is located at the sea inlet of Jiulong River in the southern coast of Fujian Province. There are mainly six port areas: Heping Port Area, Dongdu Phase I Port Area, Dongdu Phase II Port Area, Shihu Mountain Port Area, Gaoqi Port Area and Tong'an Liuwudian Port Area.
