乙型病毒性肝炎（简称乙肝），是由乙型肝炎病毒（ＨＢＶ）引起的肝脏炎性损害，是我国当前流行最为广泛，危害是为严重的一种传染病。我国现有１．２亿乙肝病毒表面抗原（ＨＢｓＡｇ）阳性携带者约有１３００万慢性肝炎患者，其中主要是乙肝病人。每年有３５万患者死于与病毒性肝炎相关的疾病，其中一半死于肝癌。 由于乙肝的传染性，许多人“谈虎色变”，仿佛患了乙型肝炎就等于判了死刑。于是，乙肝患者自卑抑郁、病毒携带者不知所措，而未感染的健康人群也有人忧心忡忡。近日，有许多读者写信到我编辑部，询问有关乙肝病的预防、治疗及日常饮食保养。为此，我们约请了沈机医院传染科主任张秀春和解放军３０２医院营养研究室主任杨明，为广大读者介绍有关乙肝的预防、治疗，调养等方面的知识、专家指出：只要预防得当、治疗及时、调养合理，乙肝并非不治之症！ 从本期开始、本刊将连续刊登有关乙型肝炎的治疗与膳食营养，以便使广大读者能正确地认识乙肝病。
