以南通小方柿(DiospruskakiLinn.cv.Nantongxiaofangshi,以下简称小方柿)为试材,并以大方柿、朱砂红作对照,对小方柿的树体特征以及某些生理生化特性进行了分析。结果表明,小方柿的树高、冠径、新梢长度、粗长比以及节间长度均显著地小于同龄大方柿和朱砂红;小方柿的枝皮率和叶片栅栏组织与海绵组织之比高于其他两品种,表现出明显的矮生树结构特性;茎尖及叶片的过氧化物酶(POX)活性与树体生长势呈显著的负相关;内源生长素(IAA)、赤霉素(GA1+3)与树高呈显著的正相关;内源脱落酸(ABA)与树高呈显著的负相关,其中以果实成熟期叶片ABA含量与树高相关程度最显著(r=-0.9697**)。
