Unforgettable days In the past life, I have experienced unforgettable days after many years. September 18, 1942, is still often miss. On the morning of the same day, I took a bus to Su-Si-Ya official office from Pekanbaru, Sumatra. The Pacific war is still going on and it is hard to estimate what will happen in the future. I had to leave Alleys, a little island that had been sheltered for nearly six months. There are endless primeval forests for easy shelter, but monkeys, boars and poisonous snakes are everywhere. Drink rain, eat gruel, rice has been very difficult to buy. By July, I finally sent my wife Wu Weinan and two of the oldest four-year-old children, Qiao Ying and Ya Mei. Then, after several shifts, I went to Pekanbaru on September 18.
