“知识人社会”的倒掉和消失只是历史的表象,这个群体潜藏在乱世与强权后面,等待着沉默的终结。无论社会角色和社会地位发生怎样的变化,对真理的追求使得知识人从未放弃对“公共交往”的期盼。知识分子的尊严来自个体的孤独求索,但是,知识分子的价值却体现在对公共领域和生活世界的影响。正是因为坚持了纯粹和坚韧的精神追求和学术理想,他们才以群体的形象和思想显示出永恒的魅力。
The draining and vanishing of the “intellectual society” is just the appearance of history. This group lies behind the chaos and power and waits for the end of silence. No matter what changes have taken place in the social roles and social status, the pursuit of truth has never led intellectuals to give up their expectations of “public relations.” The dignity of intellectuals stems from individual solitude, but the value of intellectuals is reflected in the impact on the public sphere and the world of life. Precisely because they insisted on pure and tenacious spiritual pursuits and academic ideals, they demonstrated the eternal charms in terms of group images and thoughts.
