The Decision on Amending the Civil Procedure Law of the People’s Republic of China was adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress on August 31, 2012 and came into force on January 1, 2013. The amended Chapter 6 of the Civil Procedure Law of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the “New Civil Procedure Law”) on the preservation of evidence and Chapter IX on preservation and prior execution will have a significant impact on the application of interim measures in intellectual property civil litigation . Based on the study of the status quo of the application of interim measures in civil litigation of IPR in China and the interim measures stipulated in the new Civil Procedure Law,
