今年上半年,江苏铁本公司违规上马大型钢铁项目问题受到国务院的严肃查处。此事在全国引起强烈震动。从最早向中央反映铁本公司非法占地问题,到率先揭出铁本项目“四大违规”,新华社记者先后四赴报道一线。值得欣慰的是,报道得到各级领导和群众的支持和重视,最终对国民经济的健康运行起到了应有的推动作用。
In the first half of this year, the issue of violating the regulations on large iron and steel projects by Jiangsu Iron and Steel Company was severely investigated and dealt with by the State Council. The incident caused a strong shock throughout the country. From the earliest reports to the central government about the illegal occupation of land by the Company, it took the lead in uncovering the “four major violations” of the iron and steel project and the Xinhua News Agency reporter went to the front line for four reports. What is gratifying is that the report received the support and attention of leaders and masses at all levels and eventually played a due role in the healthy operation of the national economy.
