Liver cancer is a high incidence of malignant tumors, metastases of primary liver cancer and liver metastases of other malignancies are also more common. The current study suggests that the expression of certain genes acting on different parts of tumor metastasis can play a role in inhibiting the metastasis of cancer cells, and its mutation leads to abnormal gene expression products is an important reason for tumor metastasis. These genes are commonly referred to as metastasis-suppressor genes. Further understanding of metastasis suppressor genes and their relationship with HCC will help to regulate genes at the gene level so as to control the metastasis of primary HCC and the occurrence of liver metastases in other malignant tumors.
