语篇分析(discourseanalysis)是功能学派有别于其他语言学流派的重要特征,也是该学派研究的主要对象之一。近年来的MNET试题依据新的英语课程标准,已经从客观上提出了应当达到的能力水准,其中之一就是要具备完备的语篇分析理解能力。在英语教学中,要综合运用听、说、读、写能力,在进一步提高听、说、读、写能力的同时,侧重培养阅读能力。从某种意义上讲,提高阅读能力,是提高听、说、写的关键。通过阅读,扩大了知识,增加了词汇量,交际时就不会因为知识或词汇贫乏而言不达意,写作时才能语言地道,内容丰富。学生只有掌握了阅读技巧,才能达到事半功倍的效果。系统功能语言学近年来在中国越来越受到外语教学界的关注,对其研究也不断深入。本文试图探讨一下语篇分析在英语阅读教学中可能起到的作用,以求有效地提高学生的阅读理解能力。
Discourse analysis (discourse analysis) is an important feature of the functional school different from other schools of linguistics, and it is also one of the major subjects of this school. In recent years, according to the new English curriculum standards, the MNET questions have objectively proposed the level of competence that should be achieved. One of them is to have a complete discourse analysis understanding ability. In English teaching, we must comprehensively use listening, speaking, reading and writing skills to focus on developing reading skills while further improving listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In a sense, improving reading ability is the key to improving listening, speaking, and writing. Through reading, we have expanded our knowledge and increased our vocabulary. When we communicate, we will not be indifferent to knowledge or poor vocabulary. Only students who have mastered reading skills can achieve a multiplier effect. Systematic functional linguistics has received increasing attention in the field of foreign language teaching in China in recent years, and its research has continued to deepen. This article attempts to explore the possible role of discourse analysis in English reading teaching in order to effectively improve students’ reading comprehension.
