1.概述焦溪隶属常州市东北部武进区郑陆镇,地处常州、无锡、江阴三市交界处,西距常州市中心约20km。焦溪历史可以追溯到传说中4000多年前,后凭借其特殊的地理位置,在唐代形成集镇雏形,宋代时称焦村;明初朱元璋老师焦丙在此隐居当塾师,村因此更名为焦塾;到清代已成市镇,成为常州东门外大集镇,更名为焦店。焦店河原名龙沟河,南街支流到鹤山一段叫南溪。为了以水(溪)克火(焦),在清代乾隆以前村名已为焦溪。
1. Overview Coke Creek belongs to Zhenglu Town, Wujin District, northeast of Changzhou City.
