Hemorrhagic shock model of rabbits was used to observe the effect of volume expansion of different amounts of balancing fluid to provide basis for rescuing hemorrhagic shock. Twenty-one male rabbits were anesthetized with 20% urethane, and the blood pressure was maintained at 40mmHg for 1 hour by blood excretion from the carotid artery using a blood reservoir bottle.
