作者罗伯特·克利特加德先生是一个站在真理面前的人。“站在真理面前”的意思是,一个人已经走到了真理面前,停下来站住了。这个评语是针对他的《控制腐败》作出的。该书的主要观点是,腐败从整体上是有害的,任何社会都可能发生腐败现象,但腐败是可以控制的。只有政府官员有决心从“选拔代理人、改革奖惩制度、完善情报侦察系统、改革组织结构和转变对腐败的错误态度”这五个方面采取行动,那么腐败就可以得到一个适当的控制。
The author, Mr. Robert Crete, is a man who stands before the truth. “Standing before the truth” means that one person has come to the truth and stops to stop. This comment is made for his “control of corruption.” The main point of the book is that corruption as a whole is harmful and that corruption can occur in any society, but corruption can be controlled. Only when government officials are determined to act in the five areas of “selecting agents, reforming the system of reward and punishment, improving the intelligence reconnaissance system, reforming the organizational structure and changing the erroneous attitude towards corruption” can corruption be properly controlled.
