密山農場四分場第二生產隊,大胆地破除迷信,解放思想,經过短期的醞釀准备,一所“業余農業大学”于7月15日正式开学。他們根据生產隊的力量和可能,决定以農柔机械学、耕作学、植物生理学、土壤肥料学、植物保护学作为基礎譟程,以作物栽培学作專業課程,此外还有政治課程。教学方針是以自修为主,講課爲輔;農忙时少学,農閑时多学;理論与实际相結合,普及与提高相結合。学習要求达到中等專業技術学校的水平。
