Objective To observe the changes of brain waves in children with mild closed head injury. Methods EEG was used to examine 133 children with mild closed head injury and compared with EEG data of 155 mild closed head injury patients. Results The abnormal rate of EEG in children was 64.7%, significantly higher than that of 19.4% in adults (χ2 = 61.08, P <0.005). EEG in children with impaired consciousness The abnormal rate was 94.3%, higher than that of unconscious people (54.1%), the difference was significant (χ2 = 18.24, P <0.01); the abnormal rate of EEG decreased with the prolongation of the course χ2 = 15.14, P <0.01). ④ Conclusion EEG examination can reflect the degree of mild closed head injury in children and changes in the disease.
