干中学（Lerning From Doing）是现代设计的鼻祖——“包豪斯”当年的一句名言。可惜,在现代设计思想传入我国的时候,学者们太多地被包豪斯那些透着智慧理念的信条所折服,并为其在艺术形式上的创造所震憾,所以对“干中学”这样一句表面看起来不那么“哲学”、太过于“大白话”的说法,并未引起足够的重视。 然而,广州美术学院设计系——80年代初在中国艺术院校中还毫无特色——却把“干中学’当作发展的起点,经过10年的埋头苦干,在华南地区营造出一片中国现代设计教育的辉煌。 Lerning From Doing is the originator of modern design - “Bauhaus” a famous quote.
