1990年11月30日海南省植物检疫协会在海南琼山县红明农场成立。参加成立大会的有省内农业、林业、农垦部门植保植检工作者及有关科研单位、高等院校的代表65人参加(代表全省已报名参加的117名会员)。大会讨论通过海南省植物检疫协会章程、选举产生了理事23名(其中常务理事13人,理事长1人,副理事长2人,秘书长,副秘书长各1人)。理事会推举林尤炎(海口动植物检疫所所长)为理事长,何潭连、范会雄为
November 30, 1990 Hainan Province Plant Quarantine Association in Hainan Qiongshan Hongming Farm was established. Attend the inaugural meeting, there were 65 representatives of plant protection and phytosanitary workers in the province’s agriculture, forestry and land reclamation departments as well as relevant research institutes and institutions of higher learning (representing 117 members who have enrolled in the province). The meeting discussed and adopted the constitution of Hainan Province Plant Quarantine Association, elected 23 directors (including 13 standing directors, 1 chairman, 2 vice-chairmen, 1 secretary-general and 1 deputy secretary-general).
