《虞美人草》是夏目漱石于1907年迈入职业作家之路后,在《东京朝日新闻》发表的第一部长篇小说,是其创作阶段从前期向中后期过渡的一部承上启下的作品,可见其独特的意义,但是它在中国学界一直极少被提起,国内对其研究也是处于停滞不前的状态。虽然在大众传播领域,这部作品有了一些知名度,却是把这部以“我执”为主题,提倡“道义”的作品贴上了“兄妹畸恋”“乱伦”的标签,直到2011年《虞美人草》第一个汉译本的出现,大众对这部作品的认识才慢慢走向正途,在学界也泛起了涟漪。本文试通过分析梳理《虞美人草》译本出现前后这部作品在中国内地的传播、接受状况,得出即使这是一个文学传播方式多元的社会,可靠的译本依然是传播外国文学经典的最重要方式这一启示。
