I am the head of Ningbo Poverty Alleviation Office in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Helping each other in eastern and western regions is a major policy decision made by the Central Party Committee and the State Council in accordance with Deng Xiaoping’s idea of “two overall plans” and the common prosperity of the eastern and western regions. Ningbo undertook the task of helping 12 counties in poverty in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province and Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwestern Guizhou Province.
