炉渣垫层地面出现裂缝,看起来是微不足道的小事,但工程中较为普遍,影响工程的正常使用,有时经多次返工,仍不能杜绝裂缝现象。怎样才能消除裂缝现象呢?这需对炉渣的成份和施工措施进行具体分析。试验证实,问题在于垫层材料炉渣本身。炉渣由煤碳经过燃烧而成,碳中又含有杂质石块,当碳达到一定温度变为炉渣时,石块表面温度已超过分解温度,而中心部位却没有全部发生质变,因而形成看外表是炉渣,内里则存有微小的石块,即生石灰成分。其主要成份是氧化钙(CaO),使垫层存在体积安定性不良的隐患。当(垫层)地面做好后,微小石块迅速将砂浆中的水份吸去,出现下列二种情况:

Slag, there is a tiny stone in the inside, that is, lime composition. Its main component is calcium oxide (CaO), which causes the cushion to have a hidden problem of poor volume stability. When the (cushion) floor is ready, the tiny stones quickly absorb the moisture from the mortar. The following two conditions occur:
