党的思想建设是中国共产党一个世纪以来自身建设发展的活的灵魂。机关党的建设是党的建设新的伟大工程的重要组成部分,创新机关党的思想建设是全面贯彻落实科学发展观的必然要求,是提高党的执政能力、保持和发展党的先进性的必然要求,是努力使机关党的建设始终走在党的基层组织建设前头的必然要求。海城市委党校作为一个政策理论阵地,多年来在党的思想建设上积极研究探索,从四个方面创新党的思想建设上下功夫及时发现问题,完善措施,改进工作,真正把党校的思想建设工作抓好、抓实、抓到位,进行有益尝试的同时也取得了一些实效。
