陕北是革命老根据地,又是黄河中游水土流失最严重的地区。党和政府以及全国人民对陕北建设特别是林业建设的关注,是理所当然的。 最近,我们到陕北作经济调查,接触到林业的一些情况,深感该地区发展林业的潜力巨大。加快林业建设步伐是建设陕北、根治黄河、使农民逐步富裕起来的一项十分重要而又迫切的任务。林业落后的状况再也不能继续下去了。
Northern Shaanxi is an old revolutionary base area and the most seriously affected areas of soil erosion in the middle reaches of the Yellow River. It is a matter of course that the party and the government as well as the people throughout the country are concerned about the construction of northern Shaanxi, especially the construction of forestry. Recently, we went to northern Shaanxi for economic investigations and exposed some situations in forestry. We are deeply impressed by the tremendous potential for forestry in the region. Speeding up the pace of forestry construction is a very important and urgent task of building northern Shaanxi and radicalizing the Yellow River so that peasants can gradually become affluent. The backwardness of forestry can no longer be continued.
