2003年8月19日,随着国航的一架波音747飞机在昆明机场徐徐降落,来自海关总署北京缉毒犬基地的首批5只缉毒犬飞抵昆明。 在随后的一个星期内,来自深圳盐田基地和全国8个海关缉私局带犬点的11只缉毒犬也陆续飞抵云南,与海关总署瑞丽缉毒犬基地的21只警犬会合。 8月23日,由昆明海关缉私局为主力,会同云南边境各隶属海关、全国8个海关缉私局和三大缉毒犬基地派出的200多名查缉人员、37只缉毒犬组成的查缉队伍,分别集结在德宏(保山)、临沧、西双版纳(思茅)、红河和文山五个片区,整装待发。 一场为期3个月、在海关缉毒历史上规模最大的缉毒犬大会战悄然拉开了序幕。 此次行动的代号是“K-9”。
On August 19, 2003, as Air China’s Boeing 747 aircraft slowly landed at Kunming Airport, the first batch of 5 drug-resistant dogs from the Base of Anti-drug Dogs Department of the General Administration of Customs arrived in Kunming. In the ensuing one week, 11 anti-drug dogs from Shenzhen Yantian Base and eight Customs Anti-smuggling Offices in the country also flew to Yunnan to meet with 21 police dogs at the base of Ruili Drug-hunting Base of the General Administration of Customs. August 23, Kunming Customs anti-smuggling Bureau as the main force, in conjunction with the Yunnan border Customs under the Customs, the National Customs anti-smuggling Bureau and the three bases of anti-drug trafficking more than 200 inspectors, 37 anti-narcotics dog investigation team, respectively Assembled in Dehong (Baoshan), Lincang, Xishuangbanna (Simao), Red River and Wenshan five area, ready to go.
