Rayne Dakota Prescott， known as Dak Prescott plays quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys now. He started his football career in 2012 as a backup quarterback for the Mississippi State Bulldogs， but he only had 12 plays. In 2013， the former quarterback got injured so badly that Dak finished the whole season. His excellent performance made him a real quarterback instead of a backup until 2015. In 2016， he joined the Cowboys and is likely to play the whole season.
Unlike most regular quarterbacks， Dak can pass， but he also can run. When his team members are not open， he will find a chance to run and score. He is fast and strong. It’s not easy for others to catch him and bring him down. That’s how he has helped the Cowboys win so many games.
Maybe it’s because he has the same name as my daughter， Dakota， I have special feelings towards him. Even when he played against my favorite team and beat them， I was happy for him. The Cowboys are my husband’s favorite team. They haven’t been doing well for the last couple of years. Now， with Dak’s great job， we are looking forward to seeing them in the Super Bowl.
