我国建筑工程方面的冻土研究始于1960年左右,回顾三十年来的历程,大体上可分成两个阶段。第一阶段为自1960年到1966年,该阶段由于我国从头开始,参考苏联的已有经验,进行调查研究,然后着重研究地基土的冻胀规律、冻融变形对房屋建筑的危害等。第二阶段从1972年至目前,该阶段是在前段研究的基础上重点解决编制设计规范中所遗留的问题,如房屋基础在冬季所受到的冻胀力大小及计算,以及防治冻胀破坏的有效措施等。当时开展冻土研究工作的单位有中国建筑科学研究院地基研究所(简称地基所)、哈尔滨建筑工程学院、大庆石油管理局油田设计研究院(原石油部第五设
