BOLD-fMRI has developed rapidly since 1990 when Ogawa [1] first performed magnetic resonance brain imaging using blood oxygenation-dependent method and has been widely used in various fields of neurosurgery. This article will review the clinical application of BOLD-fMRI in brain tumors. 1 Basic principles and imaging technology Neuronal activity caused by increased blood flow to the brain tissue, oxygenated hemoglobin increased, while the local oxygen consumption increased
