煤层气,俗称瓦斯,是指赋存在煤层中以甲烷为主要成分以及吸附在没几只表面为主并部分游离于煤空隙中或溶解于煤层水中的烃类气体,CH_4含量大于90%,发热量大于3.494×107J/m~2,是优质的能源和化工原料。且煤层气又是造成煤矿安全隐患的重大因素,而且煤层气是温室气体的主要来源之一。同时当今社会已经处于能源危机之中,石油、天然气等常规能源已渐渐不能满足社会的需要,急需替代能源出现;另一方面,当今社会对环保的要求越来越来高,“低碳经济”已成为一个重点话题。所以,开发利用煤层气,对于优化我国的能源结构、减少环境污染、解决煤矿安全隐患等都具有重要意义。下面从以下几个方面探讨煤层气的成因。
