著名的数学家波利亚认为数学有二重性,既是欧几里得式的演绎科学,但在创造与认识过程中又是实验性的归纳科学。在数学的历史上,曾有多位数学家用抛硬币的实验来验证等可能性,法国科学家布丰也曾用投针实验来计算圆周率,开创了用几何形式来表达概率问题,用随机实验来处理确定性的数学问题的先例。所以说从历史上讲,数学就不仅仅是概念定理公式证明计算,还有观察探索归纳猜想发现,只是限于技术,更多的数学研究实验还是依托纸和笔。随着技术的发展,在中小学教育中开展数学实验成为可能。本文主要就中小学依托信息技术开展数学实验谈谈个人观点。
