随着现代科学技术的不断进步,我国焊接事业已得到迅速地发展,对焊接质量的要求也越来越高.焊接金相与焊接接头性能密切相关,是从形态学研究出发,揭示焊接接头各个不均匀实体中金属组织变化的特征.它有助于人们领会由于不同焊接工艺而发生的组织形态的衍变并深入理解焊接工艺条件与焊接接头各区域性能变化的关系.它是评定焊接质量的依据之一.通过焊接金相的观察分析,可以推测焊接接头的性能以及采用的焊接工艺是否得当,从而提出改进焊接工艺的途径.哈尔滨焊接研究所金相室长期从事焊接接头的金相组织的观察分析研究工作,积累了大量有益素材,将陆续刊登在《焊接》杂志上与广大焊接工作者共同商讨.
