旅游中心城市不等同于中心城市。郑州作为河南的中心城市,在交通与区位、城市职能与综合实力等方面具有独特优势,但在城市形象、旅游资源等方面存在严重不足。要成为更具辐射力的旅游中心城市,郑州应结合城市自身优势与不足,发展娱乐、购物等旅游产业要素,同时挖掘和利用自身与区域相关文化资源,使文化内涵得以物质展示,从而城市的旅游产业整体发展。
